Drew Curle, Supervisory Attorney of the Criminal Records Program, was recently quoted in the Chicago Tribune's article “What else can I do?: Problems in expungement court slow attempts by some to get lives on track after criminal cases”. The article provides an important look into Cook County's expungement court in which too many cases are "plagued with mystifying procedural and logistical problems." (November 24, 2021)

Keith Harley, Director of the Environmental and Energy Law Clinic, was cited in the Washington Post's article, “To stop a scrapyard, some protesters in a Latino community risked everything” on community activists' fight against a scrapyard's relocation to the Southeast side. The article highlights the real and dangerous effects of environmental racism in underrepresented Chicagoland communities. (October 22, 2021)
