A Note from the Board President

Dear Friends of Greater Chicago Legal Clinic, 

As my term as the new President of GCLC’s Board of Directors begins, I am excited and energized to serve in this capacity. Since joining the Board in 2009, I have been proud to be part of the Clinic’s incredible ongoing evolution as one of Chicagoland’s most important legal aid service providers. 

The past two years have presented unprecedented challenges, but GCLC has never stopped its service to the community. In 2021, Clinic attorneys worked on roughly 3,300 cases, assisting over 7,000 people. And Clinic clients come from more than 200 Illinois ZIP codes. Clients seek access to justice as a way to realize safety and security for themselves and their families.  

I look forward to working collectively with fellow Board members to provide GCLC with the support it needs to continue, and even grow, the great work it does in our communities—advancing access to justice across Chicagoland.
