Ina leads the Clinic's immigration team, which specializes in family-based immigration, including filing of petitions for relatives, adjustments, consular processing, waivers, renewals of permanent resident cards, removal of conditions on marriage-based permanent resident cards, fiancé(e) visas, naturalizations, deportation defense, VAWAs, and U visas. The Clinic has a small, collaborative immigration team that provides in-depth personal service to clients, including conducting mock interviews and attending interviews with clients. The immigration team often works with clients whose cases have been mishandled by so-called notarios (or immigration consultants who are engaging in the unauthorized practice of law) and has been successful in getting these cases back on track.

Ina is an experienced attorney who worked for 28 years at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago where she became a Head Assistant Attorney, served as the District's registered lobbyist in Springfield, and was a Trustee on the Pension Board. She is the host of the Clinic's television show, "Immigration Issues," which can be seen on CAN TV on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

In her spare time, Ina is active in her synagogue and enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Riley.
