Amber Carpenter, Member

Amber Carpenter serves as Sr. Legal Counsel, Brands at Ferrara Candy Company. As in-house counsel, she practices within numerous areas of the law including intellectual property, marketing and advertising, food, and sustainability law.

Prior to joining Ferrara Candy Company, Amber worked as an Associate Attorney at law firms in Chicago. In these roles, she specialized in various aspects of intellectual property law, such as intellectual property litigation, trademark portfolio management, and patent and trademark prosecution. In January 2024, she received the prestigious Modern Counsel's 35 Under 35 award, recognizing her as an outstanding young in-house legal professional, representing the next generation of talented lawyers.

Amber is active in the community, serving as the Events Chair of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association Scholarship Board and a Board member of Greater Chicago Legal Clinic and the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP). Amber also serves on the board of the Gardeneers Pollinator Network – a non-profit organization dedicated to giving students access to healthy foods in schools in food-insecure neighborhoods throughout Chicago.
